MASSENA -- A concert and public health forum will be held Saturday, May 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Massena Springs Park to raise awareness about industrial chemical contamination in Akwesasne and Massena.
Massena Public Library will serve as a rain venue.
Jesi Turner, First Nations acoustic guitarist and singer will perform.
Keynote speakers will include Neddie Thompson of Environmental Genocide; David O. Carpenter, director at the University at Albany Institute for Health and the Environment and Donald L. Hassig, director of Cancer Action NY.
