POTSDAM -- Local Living Venture of the SLP offers secrets to creating a simple, working compost pile July 27 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The workshop gives an understanding of how to run a compost pile with the least amount of effort involved.
Janet Lomastro will volunteer to acquaint attendees with gardens that feature edibles, ornamentals and traditional medicinal plants. This is a hands-on so bring your gloves, hat, and drinking water.
Reservations are required and a $15 donation is suggested.
