POTSDAM -- A live band community contra dance will be held Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Sykes Formal Lounge at St. Lawrence University. Donations of $5 to 10 are appreciated at the door.
TAUNY and the St. Lawrence University Contra Club are teaming up to offer the dance, which will be called by Beth Robinson and accompanied by a Tune School band.
Musicians interested in playing at similar dances are encouraged to join the Tune School which meets weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at The TAUNY Center. Contact programs@tauny.org or 386-4289 for details.
