PARISHVILLE – Residents of communities in which industrial wind farms have been proposed, such as Hopkinton and Parishville, are invited to view a documentary about wind farm siting in New York.

“Windfall” will be shown in the Parishville Town Hall Sunday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.

The free movie features interviews with residents of Delaware and Lewis counties where wind farms have been proposed or built.

Area residents are invited to attend the session and share their views. Town planning board members are expected to be in attendance and to be available to discuss the proposed wind facilities siting laws for Parishville and Hopkinton.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
