LOUISVILLE -- Upstate Comic Con 2016 is at the Louisville Arena Saturday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lots of comics, art and artists, collectibles and clothes.

Admission is $12 for “VIP” entry at 11 a.m., $8 general admission at noon.

The event is raising money to go toward fighting pediatric cancer.

Vendors and artists include 11th Hour Cosplay in costume helping out with a Cosplay Contest; Bill Dealing and Brent Remington, comic books; Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey; artists Michael Waggoner, Danielle Lashomb, and Gregory Giordano; collectors and vendors Kurt Kleefield, Amy “Grave Robber Girl” Larue, Susan Tyler, Vermont Comic creators, and Jurrasic Park Jeep.

This is the fourth UCC, organized by Casondra Arquitte and Elijah Winfrey.

The previous three events saw $2,268.35 raised for local charities, and had a total of 544 attendees, according to organizers.
