AKWESASNE -- Professional comedians Dana Eagle and D.C. Benny will be performing at AMCR’s Comedy Night special on Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and include a free drink.

This is the first retail comedy show that AMCR is hosting in the Winter Ballroom, which opened two years ago and comfortably seats 300.

“We’re excited to try something different and bring in some well-known talent for a comedy show,” AMCR Interim General Manager Emily Lauzon said. “I’ve seen these comedians on Comedy Central and they are the real deal!” added Craig Fuller, AMCR Director of Marketing.

Dana Eagle is known for her frequent appearances on NBC’s s Last Comic Standing, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, CBS’s The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central, and Comics Unleashed, where she became a contributing writer. Eagle has also worked with ABC, Showtime and E! Network as an actor and writer. Rosanne Barr describes Eagle as “fierce” and Keenan Ivory Wayans describes her set as “just so much fun to watch.”

D.C. Benny is a hard-hitting New York comedian with an unorthodox style of comedic story-telling. His Comedy Central half hour is one of the highest rated in the network’s history, and he was a top 8 finalist in season 8 of Last Comic Standing. He is also an actor and has appeared on multiple Law & Order episodes and feature films such as Freedomland with Samuel Jackson. Comedy Central said “[Benny’s] laid back act is a mixture of stories, characters and improvisation that cracks up people of all backgrounds.”
