COLTON -- The free Colton Youth Fishing Derby will be held July 21 behind the town offices. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., with fishing from 8 a.m. to noon.
Prizes, trophies and raffle winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m.
Derby boundaries will run from the South Colton bridge on Rt. 56 to Brown’s Bridge on the Raquette River.
Kids age three to 15 are eligible to participate. Any in season fish of legal length may be entered.
Lures, worms and minnows are allowed, but entrants must bring their own.
Food will be served.
