COLTON -- The Town of Colton’s Winterfest Planning Committee has begun organizing the annual wintertime festival to be held Jan. 24-26.
The theme this year is ‘Jazz it up January’ which will be highlighted by a jazz concert at Colton-Pierrepont Central School following the annual spaghetti dinner.
Any organization, business, groups or individuals planning to organize a Winterfest activity should submit an event information form for scheduling and publicity purposes. The form is available at the town hall.
Scott Muller is collecting forms and also can assist in filling them out by calling 244-9956. The committee is also seeking Citizen of the Year nominations by Dec. 1. To nominate someone contact Grace Hawley at 262-2439.
The next Town of Colton Winterfest Planning Committee meeting is scheduled for Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Colton Town Hall, 94 Main St.
