CANTON -- "Color My World" 5K Color Run and Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Remington Recreational Trail at Partridge Run Golf Course, 70 Sullivan Dr. Register from 9 to 10 a.m.
The walk/run starts at 10 a.m. and a kids one-mile fun run is planned from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
The cost is $10 for the kids fun run and $30 for the 5K. T-shirts will be available for $10 while supplies last.
A chicken BBQ will be served from 11 a.m. until gone at United Helpers Maplewood Campus Pavilion, 205 State St.
The meal includes $10 for half a chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, roll, dessert and a beverage.
Proceeds benefit the Canton Day Care Center.
