STAR LAKE -- In recognition of National Physical Therapy Month, the Clifton-Fine Hospital physical therapy department will hold two sessions discussing safety, balance and falls. Both sessions are one hour.
They will be Oct. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. and on Oct. 29 from 5 to 6 p.m.
They will be led by physical therapists Erica Brown, Judy Benzel and Melissa Streeter.
The sessions will begin with a brief discussion concerning balance safety at home.
There will be three balance evaluation stations set up for those in attendance.
The session will conclude with an exercise instruction session, concentrating on strengthening muscles important for maintaining and improving balance.
