STAR LAKE -- Clifton-Fine Cub Scout Pack 28 will host an interest meeting on Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. at the Western Adirondack Church.
Cub Scouts is for boys ages 5 through 10, or grades 1 through 5.
Mariann Johnston says the pack had participated in local and regional Cub Scout events such as the Pinewood Derby, Belt Loop Day and Knights of the Round Table Cub Scout Day Camp. Locally organized events have included bicycle safety class, meeting with a Forest Ranger to learn about safety in the woods, and a family cookout where all the boys had an opportunity to cook their own meal, Johnston said.
