OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and the Tobacco Cessation Center of Northern New York will offer a free seven-week smoking cessation program.
The classes will be held in the medical center’s auditorium from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The February class dates will be Feb. 7 and 21.
Free nicotine patches or gum will be available to eligible participants. Advance registration is required.

Free telephone counseling is available through the New York State Smokers’ Quitline at 1-866-NY QUITS from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
