OGDENSBURG: Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Wellness Center hosting free fall-themed Wellness Day, New York Avenue Park, kitty-corner from the Medical Center on Sept. 21, from 4-7 p.m.

In the event of rain, the fair will be moved to the Medical Center’s Hess Auditorium.

The health fair will feature an opportunity to speak with Wellness Center providers and Mental Health Center staff and provide an opportunity for self-referral to the Wellness Center.

Additionally, educational information on mental health and wellness will be available.

There will be bounce houses, and carnival games available, and light refreshments will be served.

All are welcome to attend.

“We are offering this event to provide an opportunity for the community to meet our Wellness Center providers, make referrals, and gain insight and awareness to stop the stigma of mental health wellness and treatment,” said Kim McKnight, director of Behavioral Health Services at Claxton-Hepburn. “We will be providing quarterly events like this one as a part of our community engagement initiative.”
