CANTON -- The Cornell Cooperative Extension will offer a class on using local meats and cheeses to make a holiday charcuterie board at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043B State Highway 68, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4. MacKenzie Wario, meat marketing and processing specialist, will talk about the types of meat, where they come from, dressing them up, how to display them and pair them with local cheeses. Cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple and participants should bring a cutting board or tray. Samples of meat and cheese will be provided and local cider and wine will be paired with the food.
