POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team hosts a fundraiser for Helping Hands of Potsdam during the Golden Knights home game against the St. Lawrence University team at Cheel Arena Feb. 1.
All proceeds from the ticket sales to the game, at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, will be donated to Helping Hands of Potsdam, an organization based in Hannawa Falls dedicated to aiding people who could use a "helping hand."
There will also be a friendly competition during intermissions between the presidents of the two schools, Clarkson’s Tony Collins and St. Lawrence’s William L. Fox.
Simply by showing up and buying a ticket for $4, one can make a difference for a family in need. Nonperishable food donations will also be accepted at Cheel Arena.
