POTSDAM -- NCAA Division I Women's Hockey Champions the Clarkson University Golden Knights are welcoming everyone to Cheel Arena Saturday afternoon as they raise their NCAA championship banner.
Events will get under way at 3 p.m. with the "Knight's Faire" in the Cheel Campus Center, featuring food, fun and activities:
- Hockey 101: New to Clarkson? New to hockey? Get into the game with Liz Bollt as she teaches you hockey basics. Location: Cheel Our Place
- Knight Court: Play your own game of thrones with the Golden Knight and his fellow armored friends in the photo booth. Location: Cheel Main Street
- Ye Olde Ring Toss: Test your luck at this game of skill. Location: Cheel Main Street
- Mercantile Faire: Browse local vendors for fun. Location: Cheel Main Street
The banner raising will take place at 4 p.m. before the Golden Knights take on St. Lawrence University in Cheel Arena.
NCAA rings will be presented to the team following the game.
The game and faire are free to everyone.
