POTSDAM -- Clarkson University will host Relay for Life March 29 to March 30 in the IRC building from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life celebrates the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember lost loved ones or are fighting back against the disease.
Relay For Life also raises funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
To participate in Relay for Life visit relayforlife.org/clarksonuniversityny. Donations can also be made through the site.
Donations are used by the American Cancer Society to:
• Help people take steps to prevent cancer or detect it early, when it’s most treatable.
• Help people get well by guiding them through their cancer treatment.
• Find cures by funding research into cancer’s causes, prevention and cures.
• Work with lawmakers to pass laws and rally communities worldwide.
