POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Student Association will hold their second annual Dodging for Dreams dodgeball game at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 on Hantz Turf Field, Clarkson Avenue.

Each $2 registration fee will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All participants get a complimentary team headband.

If you would like to take part, stop by the Student Association office in the Clarkson Student Center weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or e-mail dodgingfordreams@gmail.com. You can also register on the day of the event, starting at 11:30 a.m.

"We started Dodging for Dreams last year to break the record for the world's largest dodgeball game with 1,700 players," said Michael Welch, Student Association president. "We fell short by about 1,000 people, but we still had fun.

"This year we aren't trying to break any world records, mostly because a new one was set at 4,000 participants in September by the students of Brigham Young University and Utah State.

"The only record we care about beating is last year's. The more people we can get on the field the better... 500? Not bad. 1,000? A lot of fun. 4,000? Hey, you never know!"
