POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Softball program will host four developmental camps this summer at Scott Field for players aged 11 to 17.
Basic fitness and pitching day camp will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 until 4 p.n. from June 23 through July 30. Basic pitching fundamentals and training will be provided. The cost is $250 for all 12 sessions for $40 individually.
Defensive Fundamental Day Camp will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon from July 28 to Aug. 13. For a cost of $150 for all nine sessions or a $20 drop in cost, defensive skills and strategies will be taught.
Advanced Strategies Camp will take place Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m. from Aug. 1 through Aug. 16. Players will learn advanced offensive and defensive strategy session with a cost of $75 per session.
Elite Pitching Day Camp will go from 2 until 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug. 4 to Aug. 13. This camp will be for advanced training for experienced pitchers and has a cost of $100 for all four sessions or a $40 drop in cost.
