POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University men’s hockey program will be holding a pair of development camps at its Cheel Arena this summer for Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam players.
A camp will run for boys and girls from July 8-12 for Mite (’05-’06) and Squirt (’03-’04) level players, followed by a camp for boys and girls Peewee (’01-’02) and Bantam (’99-’00) players on July 15-19.
The camps, which will run from Monday through Friday, offer three hours of daily ice time with dynamic power skating drills and on-ice skill development. A focus will also be placed on skating and skill development off of the ice. Campers will also be introduced to strength and conditioning basics. Specialized goalie instruction will also be available.
Clarkson coaching staff will be present for every on-ice session, featuring low player/coach ratio.
Cost of the camp is $335 US for a player and $285 for goalie. Cost for a player of a Clarkson employee is $310. A practice jersey is included.
There will be a final “All-Star Game” for each group held on Friday of both camps.
