CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Historical Association will host their Civil War Roundtable Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Silas House, 3 East Main St.
The topic will be “Critical Decisions that Shaped the Battle of Gettysburg” and will be led by Stanley Maine, with the assistance of Bob Wells.
The North Country Civil War Roundtable is part of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s Commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, which was fought from 1861-1865.
Around 7,000 men from St. Lawrence County enlisted to fight for the Union during the Civil War.
