OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is organizing the annual city wide garage sales for Memorial Day Weekend – Friday, May 24, Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.

These sales attract customers from all over St. Lawrence County and as far away as Ottawa, said a press release from the chamber.

The Chamber will list garage sales in a directory for $5. Information shared in the directory includes address of the sale, dates and times and a brief summary of items in the sale.

Deadline to submit information for the directory is Tuesday, May 21 at 4 p.m.

In conjunction with the city wide garage sale, The Salvation Army, 401 Franklin St., will open its doors for any and all individuals interested in having a vendor space in a flea market Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25.

Lots will be sold as 10-by-10-foot units units. Each unit will be available to rent on Friday and Saturday at a rate of $20 for one day or $30 for two days. Vendors will be able to rent more than one unit.

The Salvation Army will sell breakfast and lunch items for customers.

Children will be able to use the bounce houses for a nominal fee while their parents shop. Contact AnnMarie at 315-393-3351 to reserve your flea market space.

Also, the Seek & Find Shop will host a side walk sale, complete with bounce houses and family activities on Friday and Saturday.

The Ogdensburg Chamber Directory will be sold Thursday, May 23 at the Chamber Office or Kimro’s Medicine Place or the Label Shopper store for $3.
