POTSDAM – Cinema 10 continues its Spring 2012 season Monday, March 19 with a showing of The Skin I Live In/La piel que habito, a 2011 Spanish film by acclaimed director Pedro Almodóvar.
Films are shown on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in the Roxy Theater, Main St.
Tickets are $4.50 general/$35 season or $3.50 student/senior/$25 season.
Almodóvar reunites with Antonio Banderas (Evita, Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down! etc) as Robert Ledgard, a more than slightly mad plastic surgeon who has invented a new kind of artificial skin. At the center of this intoxicating, lush mystery is Vera, a beautiful young woman Ledgard is keeping captive in his mansion. NORWOOD – The St. Lawrence County AARP Chapter 2831 will hold a luncheon and meeting for chapter members and their guests on Tuesday, March 20, at noon, at the American Legion, Maple Street. Reservations must be made by March 13, by calling Iva Molnar, 384-4366. Following at 1 p.m. there will be a guest speaker.
