MASSENA -- St. John’s Episcopal Church, 139 Main St., will hold their Christmas bazaar on Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The festival will feature a bake sale, crafts, Christmas decorations, a white elephant table and lunch.

A wide variety of home-made baked goods will be available, including pies, cakes, cookies, breads, candy apple pies, Amish friendship bread and magic cookie bars.

A selection of hand-crafted items include Christmas decorations, wreaths, pine cone and silk flower arrangements, knitted hats, mittens, scarves, baby sets, and dishcloths, and quilted table runners, mats and Christmas tree skirts.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. It includes homemade soup, sandwich and beverage for $5.

There will be several soup choices, including tomato beef macaroni, split pea with ham, or corn chowder. Sandwich choices are egg and olive or chicken salad.

Or those with smaller appetites, just the soup or just the sandwich may be purchased for $2.

A large cup of coffee, tea or hot cider is $1.

There is no admission charge, but a boxed or canned food item for the local food pantry will be accepted.

Dessert mixes, like cake, frosting, or brownie mixes, are especially needed, event organizers said.
