POTSDAM – New Hope Community Church announces the beginning of a 12-step group for addictions with a Christian basis and focus.
New Hope for Addictions will use the traditional 12 steps as the springboard to Scripture for discussion of those topics and issues pertinent to those recovering from various addicting behaviors and those who love an individual who may be addicted.
Meetings will be held on Sundays, starting Nov. 20, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, 33 Grant St.
Anyone seeking recovery from an addiction or those who are in a relationship with someone who is addicted is welcomed. Anonymity and confidentiality will be respected.
If there are questions, call the church office at 265-7094 or 353-5199.
