CHIPPEWA BAY -- The Chippewa Bay Community Club, in collaboration with the Thousand Islands Land Trust (TILT), will sponsor a guided "Walk on the Preserve" on the new Chippewa Bay Preserve Nature Trail on Saturday, July 8, at 9 a.m.
Participants will meet at the Community Club at 1172 County Route 6, next to the Chippewa Bay Post Office, and will make their way along New Road to the 60-plus acre parcel nestled along Chippewa Creek.
The event is free and open to the public.
An unveiling of a new Chippewa Bay Preserve trail sign to be held at the corner of County Route 6 and Church Street in Chippewa Bay at 11:30 a.m.
The public is invited, refreshments for those attending will be served at the Chippewa Community Club immediately following the unveiling.
