POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum presents “Adirondack Science” on Oct. 24 from 12:30 until 2 p.m.
Children will learn the different strategies Adirondack creatures use to survive the winter.
Hibernation and migration will be discussed.
Children will learn how creatures in lakes and ponds spend their winter and spend time identifying different aquatic invertebrates that are preparing for the winter.
SUNY Canton science professors Dave Bradford, Will Rivers and Ron Tavernier will teach the course.
