POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum will be offering a range of hands-on, minds-on Saturday programs for children in grades K-5 at the Clarkson University Bookstore, 39 Market St.
Programs are $10 per participant or sign up for the whole season for half-price. Programs are taught by college faculty and local artisans.
The schedule for the year is as follows: Sept. 19, RobotZone for grades 1-8; Sept. 26, KidStage Theatre; Oct. 3, Rube Goldberg Inventions; Oct. 10, photography workshop; Oct. 17, chemistry for kids; Oct. 24, Adirondack Science; Oct. 31, PlaySpace Halloween for ages 1-4; Nov. 7, TAUNY: Explore Folklore! (held in Canton); Nov. 14, Construction Zone; Nov. 21, astronomy workshop; Dec. 5, Kid Power; Dec. 12, Art Studio: Papermaking and Dec. 19, gourmet cookie workshop with Kristin Ashley: Sugar Valley Baker.
