Children’s Halloween parties featuring haunted houses, costume parades, games and trick or treating will be held Saturday in Canton and Ogdensburg.

• Young people (and the young-at-heart) are invited to play musical games, trick-or-treat, march in a costume parade and hear music for Halloween on the Estey organ played by St. Lawrence University Musician-in-Residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, Saturday at 12:15 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel. Face-painting will be created by members of Chi Omega sorority. The event is free and children are encouraged to come in costume, and to bring their parents for 45 minutes of fun accompanied by organ music. In addition to some spooky classical pieces, music from Ghostbusters, Casper, the Friendly Ghost and other music of the season will be performed. For additional information, contact 229-5630 or chapel@stlawu.edu.
