CANTON -- Chemical Free Home & Body Care Make-n-Take is a hands-on workshop planned by the Local Living Venture for Saturday, April 7, from 10 a.m.-noon.

This session will share tips and techniques for natural cleaning and body care to keep your family healthy -- and save some money as well.

Chemical-free home care preparations will be discussed and attendees will leave with samples of a multi-purpose cleaner and a luxurious body butter, as well as the knowledge of how to make them at home themselves.

Many personal care and even health products contain chemicals and additives that many people seek to move away from, especially when applied directly to the skin. This workshop will demonstrate how to make all natural products out of a few simple ingredients that are not only safe, but effective.

Presenter Raylene Spriggs is a retired elementary school teaching assistant, a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils.

A suggested donation of $27 for the general public includes a materials fee for the samples attendees will take home. There is a discount of $49 as a family rate for two people, and $15 per student. Partial scholarships (less material costs) are available upon request.

To register, send an email to LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com or call (315) 347-4223 to reserve a spot, noting the number in party, contact phone number and email address when reserving.

Email confirmation with the exact location in Canton will be sent to all registrants within 24-48 hours.
