POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s “Wise Women, Wise Choices” lunch series continues July 21 in the Barben Rooms of Clarkson University.
Chemical dependency counselors will review popular street drugs, new ways in which they are being used and warning signs that someone may be under the influence.
The topic is “Becoming Drug Smart: A review of Modern Drug Trends,” with Emma Brackett and Victoria McAdam.
“We are not dealing with the same substances were 15 years ago- or even 5 years ago,” according to Brackett.
The lunch begins at 11:30 a.m., and is free and open to all; however, reservations are required by July 19. Contact Deborah Lauther at 261-5413, or dchaselauther@cphospital.org to reserve a seat.
