OGDENSBURG – Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” will be performed by the Ogdensburg Command Performance group Dec. 16 at 7:45 p.m.
The play will be held in the George Hall auditorium at Ogdensburg Free Academy, 1100 State St.
Filled with many beloved carols of the holiday season, the production transports the audience back to the cobblestone streets of Victorian London with its simple message of selfless giving.
Ebenezer Scrooge, a unrepentant, miserly fellow, is made to see the light as he survives a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of Christmases: past, present and future.
Tickets range from $15 to $37 and can be purchased by calling 393-2625 or visiting www.ilovetheatre.org.
There will also be a youth theater performance for students in grades 9-12 at 10 a.m. Dec. 16. Student tickets are $3 per person for the show.
