POTSDAM -- The third charity hockey game to benefit Potsdam Educational Opportunities Fund (PEOF) takes place March 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Cheel Arena at Clarkson University.
This year there will be two games. The first game will feature the teachers and staff of Potsdam Central School taking on the doctors and staff of Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The second game will see professors and staff of SUNY Potsdam taking on professors and staff of Clarkson University.
Proceeds will benefit PEOF, which provides support for K-12 educational activities in the Potsdam Central School District.
The event will feature raffle items, chuck a puck, and games for the kids in between periods. Admission is $5. Children under 10 are admitted for free.
