WADDINGTON – The Waddington Concert Series will present the Ontario, Canada Celtic band The Brigadoons on Friday, July 27 from 6:30 -8:30 p.m.

The Brigadoons have been the mainstay of numerous Highland Games and Scottish events in both the United States and Canada for the last three decades. They have been perennial favorites at the Capital District Scottish Games (New York State), the New Hampshire Highland Games at Loon, the Glengarry Highland Games (Canada), the St. Raphael’s Galarama (South Glengarry) and the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival (Colorado) for as long as people can remember.

They were inducted to The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

The Brigadoons performance is sponsored by last season’s basket collections.

The show will be held at Island View Park Pavilion at the bottom of Main Street, rain or shine. Attendees are advised to bring a chair, or blanket and bring friends.

All concerts are free, but donations are welcome to help with future concerts.
