CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St Lawrence County, 2043B State Highway 68, will host a grower meeting Wednesday, July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.
There will be a discussion of on-going vegetable production projects including fertility and soil health management in high tunnels, late blight update, post-harvest garlic management, enterprise budgets to determine which crops are profitable, emerging pests such as leek moth and spotted wing drosophila, and more.
Guest speakers include Amy Ivy and Crystal Stewart of the Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture Program and Judson Reid of the Cornell Vegetable Program.
This event is free and includes light refreshments.
