POTSDAM -- Stay Tuned, SUNY Potsdam's newest a cappella group will hold its annual invitational concert, titled "Live at 5," on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m. in Dunn Theater.

The group will premiere and perform arrangements in a number of genres, including the music of The Beatles, Dragonforce, Hozier, and a few mashups as well.

In addition to several sets of music performed by Stay Tuned, the invitational will also feature sets performed by SUNY Potsdam's very own Pointercounts and the A Sharp Arrangement.

Tickets can be purchased in the Barrington Student Union for only $5 starting on Monday, Nov. 13, and will also be sold at the door beginning one hour before the performance.

Twenty percent of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a philanthropy that is near and dear to the members of the group.

Stay Tuned, founded in the fall of 2012, is the second co-ed a cappella group to form at SUNY Potsdam. They have spent the past five years redefining a cappella through original arrangements, broad repertoire and the inclusion of music genres that aren't generally associated with a cappella.

A Sharp Arrangement is SUNY Potsdam's only all-female a cappella group, which takes on a number of different styles for women's a cappella. They are committed to working with students and promoting music education in schools.

The oldest a cappella group on campus, the Potsdam Pointercounts is also the only all-male a cappella group, bringing the high energy boy-band-factor to every performance. The Pointercounts strive to perform a variety of styles of music in order to engage the creative minds of children and adults alike.
