CANTON -- The village board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the municipal office board room, 60 Main St.
The board is expected to appoint Klaus Proemm to the trustee seat left vacant by the depature of former trustee Dwight Stevenson.
Other items on the agenda include consideration of the proposed rental registration agreement, the village ethics code, an update on the comprehensive plan, the solar project and discussion about the M.R. Bell property.
The board is also expected to discuss village parking fines and consider improvements to the village water system.
