CANTON -- The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project by collecting one mile of quarters.
As part of National Make A Difference Day on Oct. 25, they will collect donations at the VFW on Gouverneur Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
One mile of quarters, or 63,360 coins, totals $15,840, the VFW says.
"Our goal may not be realistic, but you can help us do our best," the VFW said in an email.
