CANTON -- VFW Post 1231 Ladies Auxiliary sponsors units from Fort Drum and is holding a “Schwan's Cares” fundraiser through Nov. 15 with 20 percent of your purchase of food items or 40 percent of your purchase of gift cards to come back to the auxiliary.
The proceeds will be used to purchase items to send overseas to soldiers.
The auxiliary will also receive 5 percent from food purchases from Nov. 16 through Sept. 20, 2014. For regular customer of Schwan's, give your driver or online, the campaign code 1253 to give the fundraiser credit. Orders will be delivered and payments will be will not change.
