CANTON -- The Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton, 3 ½ East Main St., will celebrate the holidays with two events at the church.
The annual holiday pageant will take place Sunday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. This year’s pageant is titled “Not Home for the Holidays.” It follows the story of three travelers stranded in a bus station by a snowstorm. To pass the time, each tell a story from their own tradition, and come to appreciate the deeper meanings of Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, and Christmas.
A Christmas Eve service will take place Thursday, Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. The service will include music preformed by the organ, choir, and handbell choir. There will also be readings, stories, candles, and tradition.
