CANTON – The board of education will meet Thursday, Dec. 7 at 6:45 p.m. in the high school learning resource center.
The board is planning to enter into executive session at the start of the meeting to discuss CSE/CPSE placement recommendations. The public session of the meeting is expected to begin at 7 p.m.
Among the agenda items the board plans to consider and discuss are the environmental club’s composting project, a corrective action plan generated from an external audit and several school policy revisions, re-adoptions and rescissions.
The board is also expected to accept a $55,000 donation from the Canton Pee Wee Association for the construction of new restrooms and a concession stand at the school’s athletic grounds.
The board will also discuss the planned retirement of long-time superintendent William Gregory on July 31, 2018.
