With the Canton-Potsdam School Merger vote coming on Oct. 30 in Canton and Potsdam, Canton School Superintendent Bill Gregory and Potsdam School Superintendent Pat Brady talk with Donna Seymour and Ann Carvill about the upcoming the merger vote on this week’s North Country Matters. Watch WCKN on Mon. Oct, 27 and Tues. Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Wed., Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. to find out what is at stake for local students.

The second show on Mon., Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. is with Daniel Martin, a candidate for the District 9 seat on the St. Lawrence County Legislature, who discusses his ideas with Donna Seymour and the Liam Hunt. The video link for that show is:

On Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m., following Peak Moment TV, watch Lynn Fox, a member of the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women, who is the Chair of the AAUW Young Women’s Leadership Institute. She and NCM host Donna Seymour discuss women’s leadership, the local event on Nov. 15, and the why more women need to run for elected office.

The second show on Tuesday at 8 p.m. is with Steve Todd, the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Superintendent. He talks about the 18 component schools in his BOCES district, the Common Core, STEM and Career and Technical Education with Donna Seymour and Ann Carvill. That show will rebroadcast on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
