POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital will hold the next in its series of Partnering in Your Care monthly educational luncheons on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from noon until 1 p.m. in Conference Rooms A & B, 50 Leroy St.
Come and hear Dennis Maid, RRT, discuss how COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) impacts Population Health.
“COPD often requires frequent hospital visits. When we speak of COPD in conjunction with Population Health, we are really referring to how we can work in tandem with providers, facilities, home care, as well as lifestyles, with the goal of implementing changes that can help minimize and alleviate COPD symptoms, resulting in fewer hospital visits,” Maid said
