POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Diabetes Support Group will meet Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. until noon in the second floor classroom, 50 Leroy St. The featured speaker will be Elizabeth Isenberg.
Isenberg is the registered dietitian at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Her topic will be “Adopting the MIND Diet.” The MIND diet stands for Mediterranean – DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay.
According to Isenberg, adopting the MIND diet may help protect against Alzheimer’s disease: “Eating the right foods helps keep the aging brain sharp.”
Admission is free.
