“We’re grateful to all the donors and the players for their support,” said Krystle Burgoyne, exercise specialist with CPH cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. “People throughout St. Lawrence County suffer from cardiac disease, especially congestive heart failure, at a higher rate than in other areas of New York State and the County. We want to prevent costly readmissions to the hospital, and part of that effort involves a consistent, supervised exercise program that improves circulatory and respiratory function,” said Burgoyne. Ms. Burgoyne will sell raffle tickets in the cafeteria of the main hospital building at 50 Leroy St. on Dec. 18-20 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
