POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Dr. Mariam Asar will speak on “Seniors and Suicide,” a special Ask the Physician event, Sept. 8, from 5:30-7 p.m., in the hospital’s A&B conference rooms, 50 Leroy St.
This event is held collaboratively with the local AARP chapter, and in recognition of September as National Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month.
Psychiatrist Dr. Asar will address why this population is often at risk and overlooked when discussing suicide.
This event is free and open to all, including a light dinner.
