POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Ask the Physician series continues April 21, at Mama Lucia’s, 1 Constitution St.
Dr. Jason Lorenc, who practices emergency medicine, will discuss illegal and illicitly used legal drugs that are prevalent today.
Lorenc will discuss “street drugs” by their vernacular names and their prescriptive uses, as well as the signs and symptoms of potential usage and overdose.
“It is important to know what is out there. As parents and grandparents, if we can talk about drug use knowledgeably with our children it can be a powerful tool in helping to offset drug use. It also makes recognizing the symptoms of drug use and abuse easier when you know what to look for,” Lorenc said in a prepared statement.
This dinner lecture is free and open to the public.
