POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Partnering in Your Care lunch series continues Nov. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. in second floor conference rooms A&B.
This month’s topic is “The Importance of Self-Breast Exams,” presented by Patty Decosse, mammography technologist.
Monthly self-breast exams are an important part of early detection of breast cancer.
“No one knows your body as well as you, and you are especially sensitive to changes in tissue, or unusual lumps. Self-breast exams in conjunction with routine mammography comprise the best frontline in cancer detection and treatment,” Decosse said.
This luncheon is free and open to the public; however reservations are required by Nov. 9. Contact Tandy Ashley at 261-6005 or tashley@cphospital.org to reserve a seat.
