POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Diabetes Support Group will meet April 7, from 11 a.m. until noon in Conference Room A, 50 Leroy St.
The featured speaker is pharmacist Regina Young.
She graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy and is serving a 12-month residency program at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Her topic will be “Insulin from a Pharmacist’s Perspective” including the types of insulin available as well as correct administration.
“Not all insulin is the same; they each have their own properties and potencies,” Young said.
The lunch is free and open to all however reservations are required.
