CANTON -- The Canton Pavilion will be opening for the season on Oct. 9. This season will feature more public skating and open hockey times as well as skate rentals.
Admission to all public skating and open hockey sessions is $2 for ages 6 and over while those 5 and under skate for free. Skate rentals are $3. There are also season pass options, $30 for individuals and $60 for families.
A grant for rental skates and helmets was received through the Health Initiative's Creating Healthy Places St. Lawrence County project, from funding from the New York State Department of Health.
Ice time can be rented subject to availability by calling the Canton Pavilion at 386-3992.
